Experience

Vitor is a lawyer with experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Law and Capital Markets, having worked on a wide range of transactions in various sectors of the economy. Vitor is a guest lecturer on postgraduate courses at Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA-USP), Trevisan Escola de Negócios and FK Partners. He writes several specialized articles and gives lectures and classes on Corporate Law and Capital Markets. Member of the Brazilian Committee of Business Valuators (CBAN), of the National Association of Finance, Administration and Accounting Executives (ANEFAC); Member of the Civil Guards and Defenses Management Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association – São Paulo Section (OAB/SP); Member of the Brazilian Institute of Business Law (IBRADEMP). He holds a Professional Certificate in the Commercialization and Distribution of Investment Products from the National Association of Investment Banks (ANBID).

– Sale to Adubos Real (a subsidiary of the Japanese group Marubeni) of Yoshida&Hirata Agronegócios, a traditional player specializing in agricultural inputs and solutions based in the state of São Paulo.

– He advised Barentz International, a global life sciences group, on the acquisition of Volp Indústria e Comércio, a Brazilian company with a leading presence in the personal care products distribution sector.

– Advised Agro Amazônia (a distribution company of the Sumitomo Corporation Group) on the acquisition of Nativa Agronegócios, a company with a prominent presence in the agricultural inputs and fertilizers distribution business, with a focus on the state of Minas Gerais.

– Transaction involving the acquisition and financing, for US$ 1.485 billion, by Avient Corporation, a leading provider of specialized and sustainable materials solutions, of Koninklijke DSM, a protective materials company, leader in the specialized engineering materials sector, created on the basis of the invention of Dyneema®️, the world’s strongest fiber.

– Advised O Mecânico, a leading provider of educational content and services in the tools and parts sector, on the sale of the company to Loja do Mecânico (the billionaire retailer invested in by eB Capital).

– Advising on the structuring of an investment and fiber optic joint venture between Americanet and GRUPO Celérix.

– Advised Vitalforce, one of the most important players in the biological fertilizer industry, on the sale of the company to Grupo Lwart (a world reference company and Brazilian leader in the collection and re-refining of used lubricating oil and post-consumer waste management).

– Advised one of the main global distributors of life science ingredients on the acquisition of a Brazilian company with a strong presence in the flavors and ingredients sector.
